Class 3

Students of Class 3 are required to choose their elective International GCSE subjects for Class 4 by mid-March.  This important decision is reached after guidance from the School in the form of presentations and meetings, for both parents and students.

International GCSE grades are very important because:
• They indicate a student’s academic potential
• Universities look at International GCSE grades
• Some universities and certain courses require particular grades and subjects at International GCSE level
• Top ranking universities/competitive courses require ‘A’ and 'A*’ grades

Obligatory International GCSE subjects:

English, Mathematics and Greek (for Greek speakers)

Elective International GCSE subjects:

Students need to choose a further 5 International GCSE elective subjects

Note:
• Grammar School students take GCE Ordinary Level English (First Language)
• Greek speaking students take Modern Greek GCE Ordinary Level and GCE Advanced Level in June of Class 5
• Physical Education is also part of the curriculum
